Board Summit 2024:

Board Summit is a learning and networking event aimed at connecting individuals to a nonprofit with open board seats. The event provides a platform for nonprofit organizations to showcase their board opportunities and needs, while offering board seekers the chance to explore diverse board roles and connect with organizations aligned with their interests.

Opportunities to Connect:

During Board Summit, attendees will spend the day learning and connecting in two meaningful ways:

  1. Learning Sessions: Start the day by attending two interactive workshops and a panel discussion led by industry experts, focusing on key topics such as the roles and responsibilities of board members, making the best match for your passion, and how to be an effective board leader. These sessions provide valuable insights and practical strategies to kick off or enhance your board journey.

  2. Networking Time: Spend the afternoon visiting with representatives from over 50 nonprofit organizations actively seeking board members. Use this time engaging in meaningful conversations and connections, laying the groundwork for a potential board placement with a mission you’re passionate about.
