BUILDING BOARDS THAT REFLECT OUR COMMUNITY
Board Summit, hosted by Mission Capital, connects individuals interested in nonprofit board service with Central Texas nonprofits looking to recruit for positions and build diverse, inclusive boards.
Over 50 nonprofits, with a wide range of missions, will have tables at the Board Summit. Aspiring board members are encouraged to visit these tables to learn more about the organizations and openings they aim to fill.

If you identify as BIPOC, have lived experience, and are invested in community issues, Board Summit is the perfect place for you. Connect with over 50 nonprofits eager to welcome new board members who reflect the communities they serve.

3:00 to 4:00 PM - Nonprofit Members' Reception
After setting up for the event (1pm - 3pm), the leaders of participating nonprofits are invited to this special pre-event Members’ Reception. Grab a bite to eat and a beverage, and get to know other nonprofit leaders, event sponsors, and the Mission Capital staff and Board of Directors.
4:00 PM - Board Seekers Check-In Begins
4:30 to 5:00 PM - Welcoming Remarks and Panel Presentation
Session title and panelists will be announced soon.
5:00 to 7:00 PM - Connection Time
Board Seekers visit any of the 50+ participating nonprofit organizations at their booths.
Enjoy appetizers and a cash bar throughout the evening.
Get one-on-one guidance from experienced board leaders in designated areas for quieter conversations.
7:00 PM - Event Concludes
