Jordan Ely
Consultant - Consulting, Leadership & Learning
Jordan’s passion for community and capacity building initially brought her to Mission Capital’s Membership Management team in 2018. While in the role of Membership Intern, she completed her Bachelor’s degree at St. Edward’s University, where she graduated with an Honors degree in Cultural and Rhetorical Communication. After graduating, Jordan moved into the for-profit sector in a business development role at Oracle NetSuite where she worked with companies and organizations across their general business and non-profit verticals to solve operations challenges through systems change.
She returned to Mission Capital in January of 2021 as our Program Fellow, providing direct consulting support, business development, systems development and administrative support for the Consulting and Learning and Leadership team.
In 2022, Jordan moved into the role of Consultant on the team. Since stepping into this position, Jordan has deepened her expertise with strategic planning, piloting new community-based approaches to strategic planning, working with organizations of all sizes and scopes to strengthen strategy, team development and impact. In addition to strategic planning, Jordan is passionate about Executive Transition Management – partnering with organizations at pivotal change points to understand community needs and translate that into transformational leadership.
Jordan excels at understanding and finding value in the complexities that come with nonprofit capacity-building and development, and she prides herself on her ability to ask deep questions, forge trusting relationships and create systems excellence. You can find Jordan in Houston, playing with her three dogs, cooking and watching great TV.
