Building Connections for Community Impact: Board Summit 2024

We are thrilled for the return of this signature event to the Central Texas nonprofit community. Board Summit is designed to foster connections between nonprofit organizations with open board seats, and individuals in the community interested in board service.

Nonprofits benefit from having board members that truly reflect the communities they serve, and Board Summit creates a unique opportunity for meaningful connections and introductory training supporting inclusive community impact.

Board development and management is key to nonprofit success. Finding the right folks, onboarding them, and developing a strong collaborative relationship between board and staff exponentially increase a nonprofit’s ability to deliver their mission and serve their community. For over 20 years, Mission Capital has supported both connecting folks and educating them around board service. Our Board Summit has been an integral part of that, and we are excited to bring it back this year and be back in person. Connecting the community and supporting the nonprofit sector is key to our mission.
— Deborah Barker, Mission Capital Interim CEO
