Who we want:
Mission Advancement Census 2020 Project Director
leads the regional, multi-county coordination for the Central Texas Census 2020 Get Out The Count efforts to ensure the most accurate count possible in our community, including:
Coordinating the collaborative work of local Complete Count Committees in a five-county region (Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson).
Liaise with the Texas Count Committee and other State level efforts and organizations.
Liaise with Central Texas funders supporting Census 2020 efforts
Identify and disseminate best practices in get-out-the-count efforts locally and nationally.
Liaise with Central Texas nonprofits, businesses, and organizations to share Census 2020 information
Oversee the distribution of funds to CCCs and local grassroots organizations that align with strategic priorities to reach hard to count communities.
Support the 2-1-1 Census information line.
This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position starting no later than October 28, 2019 and lasting 10 months. The Mission Advancement Census 2020 Project Director reports directly to the Director of Data and Evaluation.

What you’ll bring:
Solid written and oral communication skills and fluent in both English and Spanish.
Local experience with grassroots efforts and/or hard-to-reach communities.
Minimum two years related experience; nonprofit experience a plus; Census or get-out-the-vote experience a plus.
Experience in leading effective meetings with diverse participants and supporting collaborative work.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
An ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced work environment
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, email, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Interest in and commitment to the organization’s mission.
Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and comfort with regional travel.
