Claire Frankenfield
Program & Events Coordinator
As Program & Events Coordinator, Claire works collaboratively and creatively with Mission Capital’s Consulting, Learning & Leadership and Membership Team to support membership and training events, the coordination of core programs, data & systems management, and ensure excellent service with internal and external collaborators.
Prior to working at Mission Capital, Claire led cross-cultural adolescent mentoring programs through the Young Life organization in Dallas at multiple high schools. She was responsible for the facilitation and execution of school year and summer camping programs by building teams of young adult and high school volunteer leaders. Claire oversaw the growth of these programs by maintaining healthy financial development through individual donors and building community partnerships in order that more students continue to be impacted.
Before that, Claire was an Oregon Fellow at M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust in Vancouver, WA where she supported a variety of grantmaking projects across teams. The Trust seeks to enrich the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest by providing grants and enrichment programs to nonprofit organizations that aim to strengthen the region’s educational, spiritual and cultural foundations in creative and sustainable ways.
Claire holds a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in Economics, Nonprofit & Philanthropy Studies and Africana Studies from Auburn University. If she’s not busy scheming for an upcoming trip, she can likely be found thrifting or spending time outdoors.
