Mission Capital is seeking a Program Fellow to join our Consulting Services Team for an 18-month fellowship. Since 2001, Mission Capital has provided nonprofit consulting services to organizations throughout Central Texas. We have a team dedicated to every practice area of nonprofit management, including strategic planning, board development, change management, organizational dynamics, mergers and more.
The Program Fellow will join the efforts of staff and board to deliver on our mission to “equip and connect mission-driven leaders, organizations and networks working to advance equity and opportunity”. The ideal candidate is excited about working at Mission Capital and possesses a strong desire to learn about and be engaged in capacity building for nonprofits. This individual will bring a strong customer service orientation and project management skills to support a high-functioning team of consultants and a growing portfolio of nonprofit organizations. They will also be flexible in nature and enjoy adapting between projects and activities.
The Program Fellow will bring a strong interest in data gathering and analysis, with a gift for turning information into stories. This position is ideal for one who thrives in a fast-paced, engaging, and multi-function role.
The Program Fellow position is an 18-month placement. At the end of the fellowship, the Fellow will have made significant contributions to Mission Capital’s consulting practice, gained a holistic understanding of general consulting techniques and consulting practice management, developed core skills (e.g. group facilitation techniques) and deep knowledge of and experience within the nonprofit sector.
Reports To: This position reports to the Director of Consulting
Position Status: This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, non-exempt Fellowship
Virtual Office: Mission Capital staff are currently working remotely until at least December 31, 2020. This position will also work remotely until we are able to safely return to the Mission Capital Office.
Salary: The Program Fellowship starting salary is $17 - $18 per hour and is negotiable depending on experience
