Young people are our future (donors), but many nonprofits are simply overlooking them. We’ll discuss the perils of ignoring younger audiences when it comes to donor cultivation as well as ways to turn these generations into your future donors. Get to know our presenter: Rachel Clemens, Chief Marketing Officer at TradeMarkMedia, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Savannah College of Art and Design
After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Rachel worked as a graphic and Web designer in London, England; Brisbane, Australia; and at several advertising agencies in Austin.
In 2005, Rachel founded Creative Suitcase—a new agency—to help her clients tell their stories and engage their audiences by fusing smart strategy with killer creative. During her tenure as a business owner, in addition to tackling design challenges, Rachel found herself drawn to solving larger business challenges.
In 2016, Creative Suitcase merged with TradeMark Media and Rachel focused her efforts on marketing strategy and storytelling full-time. She’s responsible for client branding strategies—and sharing the passion, expertise, and dedication of the TradeMark team with the world.
After work, Rachel spends most of her time with her son and her husband, planning their next great adventure, whether local or half-the-world away. Sometimes their puggle, Buddy, gets to pal along.
