EXCEPTIONAL CONNECTIONS, REIMAGINED

Like it has happened to so many other events, the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing guidelines have led us to offer a reimagined version of our Board Summit event.

While the main goal of this event is to connect nonprofit organizations with individuals who wish to serve on nonprofit boards, our community is currently experiencing a surge in their need to connect and find volunteers.

For these reasons, Board Summit 2020 is now a two-part event that includes:

Volunteering and Board Service: How to Connect to Nonprofits that Need You – June 4, 2020

This online training session is designed for any individual who is interested in volunteering in a leadership capacity with a local nonprofit organization. The session will provide an overview of the many ways in which individual leaders can connect with causes they care about, including serving on a board committee and joining a nonprofit board. The executive leadership and board members representing dozens of exceptional nonprofits will participate in the session to provide specific insights about their work.

Registration for this exciting, interactive June 4th session is now open for a suggested donation to Mission Capital of $35 and includes a voucher to attend our Board Summit fall event.

Board Summit Fall Event – Date TBD

We recognize that there is a need for talented and diverse board members and nonprofits to connect at a deeper level. While adhering to social distancing guidelines, our team is working with an estimated 45 nonprofit organizations to make this collaboration happen in the fall.
