This role will manage technical and business-focused projects and may also lead requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and data use and governance trainings and workshops. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams through the full project life cycle; clearly communicating expectations, timelines, and status to internal and client teams; and ensuring that the project schedule and budget are clear, manageable, and achievable.
  • Managing relationships and communications with clients, partners, and internal teams through prompt responses, appropriate internal and external project status reports and deliverable presentations, and effective standing and ad hoc meetings.
  • Designing and/or facilitating stakeholder coaching, training, and requirements gathering workshops.
  • Keeping abreast of all organization programs and projects, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and effectively stepping in when additional assistance or advice is needed.
  • Assisting with strategic planning.

  • Strong understanding of the data needs and challenges of state education agencies, schools, and/or social service providers, especially related to system integration, data standardization, and privacy.
  • Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation, requirements gathering, and facilitation skills; and experience presenting information in a variety of settings and formats to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, especially within an agile environment, and familiarity with a variety of project management techniques and frameworks.
  • Candidates with diverse professional experience related to education or social service program design and management and data collection and use are encouraged to apply.
