Board Summit by Mission Capital, is a fast-paced, networking event designed to connect individuals interested in nonprofit board service with a variety of Central Texas-based organizations with open board positions and a commitment to building diverse, inclusive boards.

Nonprofits that would like to be featured at Board Summit must be current Mission Capital members and fill out the application form by March 13, 2020

Up to 50 nonprofit organizations will be selected by March 30, 2020.  Each featured nonprofit must be represented by their executive leader and a key board member (ideally the board chair) at the Board Summit on June 4, 2020. Additional participation requirements are outlined in the application.  

Nonprofits will be selected based on their readiness to provide interested candidates with a quality board recruitment and service experience. Organizations that demonstrate a commitment to building a diverse and inclusive board will be prioritized. An effort will be made to select a diverse group of organizations, representing many focus areas and organization sizes. 


Registration for board position seekers to attend Board Summit will be available here beginning April 6, 2020 and will cost $35 per person. The list of accepted, featured nonprofits will also be posted on this site beginning on April 6, 2020. 


Companies and associations interested in sponsoring Board Summit and/or encouraging a group of their employees or members to explore board service are encouraged to download sponsorship information.
